It's finally spring after a winter that was quite mild here on the east coast.
Truth be told, I haven't felt quite ready to leave hibernation. I'd like a few more cozy weeks by the fire. But the days are brighter and longer and my kids keep asking why we're having dinner so early, even though we're sitting down to the table at the same we did all winter.
If you've been reading, you may have noticed I've been alternating the style and content of what I share each week. I'm curious, do you have a preference? Do you like the curated lists? More personal essays? Both? Personally, I'll be writing more. The only question is whether I'll share them in full here, or link to them as I've done below. so you can choose if you want to read it.
Writing helps me slow down and think through my own thoughts. It helps me notice the pinpricks where the light gets in, and then share what I've seen. So if you're here, I want to say thank you.
And with that, some things!
xx
Catherine

Hi and happy Wednesday! Someone asked me yesterday what this newsletter was about, and I replied with something along the lines of "it's semi-controlled shrapnel from the glitter-bomb inside my head." I've been writing this newsletter on and off for almost 5 years. I am not always consistent, but I do always come back. While it has taken many forms and covered many topics, its always centered around the really light and easy-to-answer question: how do we live with more meaning, purpose and...
Three things to ponder this week: LinkedIn Anxiety Yesterday, I saw this post on Instagram about how LinkendIn causes intense comparisonitis and anxiety. This could be a pot and kettle situation, but I confess I instantly related to the observation because I have long felt self-conscious showing up on LinkedIn. To me, Instagram feels more creative and less serious, while LinkedIn feels like a pissing match of promotions. This is, of course, filtered through my own personal lens. LinkedIn...
